What happens at delivery
Most deliveries take 15–20 minutes. Here's exactly what to expect, in the order it happens.
Before the driver arrives
The driver calls you about 30 minutes out. You'll confirm the address and the nearest accessible street — many residential streets are too tight for a 75-foot car carrier, so the driver may suggest a wider road, a shopping-center parking lot, or your nearest mall as the actual handoff spot. Bring a flashlight if it's after dark. The driver notes the time of arrival on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before anything else happens.
- Driver calls ~30 min out
- Confirm address + accessible street (no tight residential cul-de-sacs)
- Bring a flashlight if after dark
The walkaround
You and the driver inspect the vehicle together, comparing what you see now to the pickup photos. We send those photos to your phone the moment the driver arrives so you can hold them up next to the actual car. Anything new — a fresh scratch, a panel ding, a glass chip — gets noted on the BOL before you sign. Take your time. Walk around twice if you want. This is the moment that closes the loop on the entire transit.
- Inspect together, no rush
- Compare against pickup photos sent to your phone
- Note anything new on the BOL BEFORE signing
The Bill of Lading
The BOL is the legal document that records condition at delivery. Your signature means: "I received my vehicle in the condition documented here." If you note damage on the BOL, your signature is still required — but it's signature with notation, which preserves your claim rights fully. The driver leaves you a copy. Keep it: it's your proof of delivery for insurance, vehicle registration, and any future dispute.
- Your signature = "condition is what's documented"
- Note damage BEFORE signing (signature with notation preserves claims)
- Keep your copy — needed for insurance, registration, disputes
Final payment
Balance is due at delivery, payable by card, ACH, or Zelle. The driver does not handle cash. If your tier was Standard or Priority, you may have paid the full amount at booking — check Your Team card in the portal for the actual remaining balance. Payment processes through our portal, not the driver's own device, so you'll have a digital receipt before the driver leaves.
- Card / ACH / Zelle
- No cash
- Digital receipt before driver departs
If something is wrong
Don't sign without noting it on the BOL. Photograph every dent, scratch, or new piece of damage from multiple angles — straight-on, oblique, with something for scale. Call your coordinator before the driver leaves: they can advise in real time, and if it warrants a claim, they'll start the carrier paperwork while you're still standing in front of your car. You have 24 hours to file a formal claim, but the moment of handoff is when the strongest evidence exists.
- Don't sign clean if damage exists
- Photo everything from multiple angles
- Call your coordinator BEFORE the driver leaves
- 24-hour formal claim window — but handoff is when evidence is strongest
